Sarah S. Butters appointed to serve on the ULC’s Joint Editorial Board for Uniform Trust & Estate Acts

We are proud to announce that Shareholder Sarah Butters has been appointed to serve on the Uniform Laws Commission’s Joint Editorial Board for Uniform Trust & Estate Acts. The ULC was established in 1892 and provides states with non-partisan, well-conceived and well-drafted legislation that brings clarity and stability to critical areas of state statutory law. Sarah is a recognized, national expert in trust and estate law, and has substantial experience drafting legislative changes in the law. She has served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Trust and Estates at Florida State University’s College of Law since 2010.
The Joint Editorial Board is an arm of the ULC, charged with monitoring legal developments in trust and estate law and making recommendations for new uniform acts or amendments to existing acts. The Board brings together top academic and practicing trust and estate professionals in the US, and we know that Sarah’s expertise will be a valuable addition to the Board. Congratulations Sarah!
