With a background at the Office of Energy and the Public Service Commission, Matt Jones focuses his practice in the area of utility law and litigation.
Matt Jones is an associate at Ausley McMullen and is a member of the firm’s utility law and litigation teams. Matt represents regulated industries such as utilities and telecommunications in administrative proceedings, litigation, and appeals. Matt has experience in public records law, rulemaking law, and general government law relating to regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt held the position of Senior Attorney at the Department of Agriculture and Consumer services where he served as the head public records attorney and rulemaking coordinator. Prior to this role, he was an attorney with the Public Service Commission.
