Ausley McMullen

Landlord Tenant

Ausley McMullen has the experience to handle all aspects of Landlord Tenant law, including lease agreements, deposit disputes, noncompliance notices, and settlement agreements.

Florida’s landlord-tenant laws are very specific and continue to evolve. Our attorneys constantly monitor legislative changes and court decisions in this area to provide the best representation possible.

Our practice group represents both management companies and individual landlords in residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters. Our statewide practice includes handling matters such as
security deposit disputes and defense of Fair Housing complaints filed by tenants with the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Our firm also assists clients with preparation of various noncompliance notices, leases and settlement agreements.

Our lawyers have represented clients through the eviction process whether it be due to non-payment of rent, noncompliance of the lease, or for a hold-over tenant, as well as helping clients obtain monetary judgments and recovering monetary damages.
